About the Books

The Anatomy collection combines art and science in educational books, activity books, sticker sets, puzzles. The collection’s purpose is to encourage curiosity and inspire you to look more closely at the world all around you.

Julia Rothman, the series creator, is an illustrator who uses her love of drawing and painting to understand and share the world’s wonders. She has partnered with collaborators and experts on the topics covered in the books to bring together her artwork and a variety of facts and information.

The art in these books is created by hand with gouache paint and ink. The fonts used in the books were all created by Julia. The books take approximately two years from outline to a completed book you hold in your hand.

The collection is published by Storey Publishing, who is committed to publishing “practical information that promotes personal indolence in harmony with the environment.”
